WHY India WHY ?

Corruption inequality injustice has become the nature of our country, 

yet there are some common sense rules which we, the so called educated can follow, 

but seldom so. 

WHY ? 

WHY India WHY ?

Why do we use our currency as rough paper... 

scribbling & scratching numbers signatures & names? 

Why do we declare our love on our monuments so magnificent and strong....

etching and carving anuj priya ka prem ? 

Why do we drive on the wrong side of the road....

breaking rules, making it dangerous for you, me young & old ?

Why do we honk when we are traffic jam stuck....

even though we see no way through?

Why do we push our car through an inch of space 

even though we know it will never go through?

Why do we litter everywhere but the bin 

even when the bin is so close to you ?

Why can we not wait in patience for our turn

why must we always jump the que ? 

Why do we talk on the phone in the movie hall 

when we are supposed to keep it off use?

Why do we pee anywhere we feel...
making the world one big toilet?

Why do we not care for the felling of trees

when all we inhale are fumes?  

Why do we take pride in flouting the rules 

when t'is to make our life lil' easy & cool?
