At this government hospital
As i journey through the fourth year of my youth
Learning the way as to how m i supposed to treat
The sick and the ailing weak...
No matter how many sleepless nights it may count
No matter how many missed meals it may amount
But the reward in return is priceless abound
A smile at my patients face
A victory against the death as we race
A tear wiped from the sons face
A gleam kindled in the mothers soul
A faith rendered to the daughters heart
A love rejuvenated in the husbands frame
Leads me to pray again and again to the Lord
Please continue to give birth to me as a doc
Only as a doc...
Nothing but a doc....
